CORPORATE CURLING EVENTS

We are an ideal Corporate Location, with car-parking and good access to the city centre and the airport, and of course catering can be provided.

Below are some of the questions that, as a potential corporate curler, you may like to know:

HOW MANY PEOPLE ON EACH SHEET OF ICE?

Each sheet ideally takes 8 people, 2 teams (rinks) of 4 each. Provided your party is no more than 10 people, one sheet could be used. Any more than 10 you would require 2 or more sheets, depending of course on your actual number.

HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION LAST?

The daytime sessions (10am, 12.30pm and 3pm) last for 2 hours 5 minutes.

The evening sessions (5.30pm, 7.30pm and 9.30pm) last for 1 hour 50 minutes.

CAN WE HAVE SOMEONE TO SHOW US HOW TO PLAY?

We can offer the use of an instructor if required. Most people will take the coach for the first hour and play a game in the second. As much notice as possible is requested to book the instructor. From a safety aspect one coach per sheet of ice is required.

DO WE REQUIRE ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT?

Spotlessly clean, rubber soled training shoes should be brought with you. Warm clothing should also be worn. Brushes can be borrowed from the rink.

ANY SAFETY ASPECTS?

We would point out that, with ice being a dangerous surface, all persons
enter the ice pad entirely at their own risk. All persons should also behave in
a manner suited to the dangerous surface. No one under the influence of
alcohol or drugs shall be allowed onto the ice and no financial
reimbursements shall be made.
